About us
Solarta Balear SL is a company located in Artà (Mallorca) and was founded by Senior Industrial Engineer Heinz Torwie in 1989. We install energy systems based on the maximum use of renewable energy sources. Our specialised team is organised in four departments: Photovoltaics, Solar Thermal Energy, Electronics and Mechanics. |

Since 2001, Solarta has been involved in several large-scale photovoltaic projects as part of its participation in the company Generació Fotovoltáica, based in Palma de Mallorca. Generació Fotovoltáica has installed more than 50 systems over the past years (among them 6 PV farms) with a total capacity of 15 megawatts. Since 2007, Solarta has been certified according to ISO 9001:2000 and is classified as a public contractor under ID9. Thanks to these certificates we distinguish ourselves from our competitors in this sector on the Balearic Islands.

Solarta takes its responsibility for its customers serious and is therefore member of ASIF, ASINEM and PIMEM. Due to our memberships we have access to current technical and legal information at national and regional level.
Specialised
Solarta is an exclusive authorised service partner for different manufacturers (SMA, XANTREX, STUDER, PROVEN) on the Balearic Islands. This enables us to offer the appropriate spare parts and to act quickly as part of our customer service. Thus, our customers and other installers can benefit from it.
